Terms

Scoreloot is a marketplace. We host listings and take a cut when a lot sells. We are not the seller, we do not grade cards, and we do not authenticate memorabilia. The seller on the lot is the one you are buying from.

What you can list

Sports memorabilia, trading cards, and collectibles. Photos must be of the actual item in your hands. Event tickets are not for sale here.

What you cannot list

• Replicas, reprints, or counterfeits sold as authentic
• Stolen goods, or items you do not own
• Event tickets
• Anything illegal to sell in the United States

Buying

The listed price is what you pay. After the card clears, the seller ships to the address you gave. Scoreloot does not take possession of the item.

Selling

Listing is free. When it sells, Scoreloot takes 7% plus card processing. You ship within three business days of payment, using the packing slip. Seller terms.

Certs

A cert number on a listing opens the issuing house’s lookup. A real number on a fake sticker is still a fake. Compare photos to the official record.

Accounts

You must be 13 or older. You pick a username and confirm your date of birth. That handle is how you buy and sell. Member accounts cannot change site settings, fees, or house rules.

Age to sell

You must be 18 or older to list a lot or receive a payout. Buying is open at 13.

Payouts

Before a lot can sell, the seller sets up payouts with the card processor. The processor verifies the seller. Scoreloot does not take a photo of your ID and does not hold payout money — when a lot sells, the processor sends the seller their net and Scoreloot keeps 7% plus processing as an application fee.

High-volume sellers

If you hit 200 sales of new or unused lots and $5,000 in a rolling year, US marketplace rules require a legal name, working phone and email, tax ID last four, and a payout account. You have 10 days. Selling pauses until the file is in. Over $20,000, city and contact show on the lot. We recertify at least once a year.
